Rescue 1, 2 and Fair Lawn Fire Engine 1 responded to Fair Lawn Avenue near Chandler Drive on an overturned motor vehicle with an entrapment. Rescue 1 arrived in moments from just clearing a previous call. The scene was surveyed, the vehicle was stabilized, a Rescue certified EMT was placed inside the vehicle to provide first aid and stabilize the patient and extrication was preformed removing the patient from the vehicle in moments. Fair Lawn Ambulance and Saint Jose Hospital Paramedics arrived on scene and assumed first aid. Rescue Chief Eric Van Kruiningen, 1st Lieutenant Andrew Flax and Engineer Travis Gildersleeve coordinated the above rescue efforts, great job done by all!
